Welcome to Lomsesanden – a unique seaside campsite on the southern coast of Norway, located within a nationally protected natural landscape. Here, you stay directly on a long, white sandy beach, surrounded by dunes, open horizons and the calm beauty of the Scandinavian coastline.
Lomsesanden is about being present. Slow mornings with coffee in the sun. Evenings watching the sunset melt into the North Sea. It is a place to relax – but also to explore.
Step straight into nature through coastal hiking, cycling, surfing, snorkelling or kayaking in the sheltered archipelago. Spend the day swimming, paddling or simply breathing in the fresh sea air. Whether you seek quiet moments or active outdoor adventures, everything is right outside your tent, camper or cabin.
We offer pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents, 12 comfortable glamping tents, and upgraded camping cabins with electricity and running water.
New for the 2026 season, all shared facilities have been fully renovated. Our modern service building includes updated bathrooms and practical amenities, while the kiosk and indoor restaurant area have been refreshed and expanded. On cooler days, you can now sit by the fireplace indoors and enjoy the sea view in comfort.
The campsite features a summer pizza restaurant, playground, beach volleyball court, well-stocked kiosk, TV lounge and laundry facilities. We also rent out SUP boards, kayaks and bicycles, with easy access to scenic coastal cycling and hiking trails.
Lomsesanden is part of South Cape Collection – and a place many guests return to, year after year.

Our partner, Lista Aktiv, facilitates courses, experiences, and tours. On Lista, you'll find over 20 km of sandy beaches, fjords, archipelagos, and mountains. Lista is renowned for its unique conditions for board-based water sports such as windsurfing, kiteboarding, surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), attracting numerous visitors and athletes year-round.

Check-in for cabins and glamping-tents is available from 3:00PM, and check-out is before 11:00AM.
Check-in for caravans, campers and normal tents is available from 12:00 (noon), and check-out is before 12:00 (noon).
Free cancellation up to 7 days before the arrival date.
Full payment is required for cancellations made less than 7 days before the arrival date.
NOTE: Our tent area is car-free, and it is also NOT permitted to set up tents in the RV/camper area.

The camping cabins have been a fixture on the site for as long as we can remember, and when we took over the management, we were determined to preserve them. These cabins symbolize for us how little one actually needs to have truly wonderful experiences. Simple joys like enjoying a good cup of coffee on the porch as the sun sets or sitting inside and watching the storm outside. We renovated all the cabins in 2020, adding water and a full kitchen. We simply find them to be genuinely cozy, and we believe you will too!
