Kayaking
Explore the calm waters and beautiful archipelago just outside Lomsesanden. Paddle along the coast, discover small islands and coves, or head towards the charming harbour village of Loshavn.
SUP
The perfect way to explore the sea at your own pace. Paddle from the beach, discover the sheltered waters around Lomsesanden or gather your friends on one of our larger SUP boards.
Cycling
Explore the Lista coastline by bike. From Lomsesanden, you can follow coastal roads and trails towards Lista Lighthouse and discover beaches, villages and open landscapes along the way. E-bikes and regular bikes are available for rent.
Hiking
Walk through dunes, forest and coastal landscapes, or take on a longer stretch of the spectacular coast between Varnes Lighthouse, Lomsesanden and Lista Lighthouse. There are trails for both short walks and longer adventures.
Snorkelling
Discover the life beneath the surface with local snorkelling guide Melanie. Learn about seaweed, fish and marine life while exploring the clear waters along the coast. Equipment and wetsuits are provided.
Swimming
The beach at Lomsesanden is made for a swim – with plenty of space to find your own spot. For something more secluded, explore the small beaches and coves around Einarsneset.
Coasteering
For those who like a little more adventure: follow the coastline by climbing, scrambling, swimming and jumping into the sea. Coasteering combines movement, nature and a good dose of fun.
Surfing
The beaches around Lista offer excellent conditions for surfing, from gentle waves for beginners to more challenging days for experienced surfers. Local surf schools offer courses and equipment.
Birdwatching at Lista Lighthouse
Lista is one of Norway’s most important places for birdwatching, and the area around Lista Lighthouse is a fantastic place to experience migrating birds. Visit Lista Bird Observatory and learn more about the rich birdlife along this exposed stretch of coast.
